Title:
  hud fails to accept keyboard input after pressing TAB

Status in Unity:
  Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  While Alt+TABing between windows I accidentally summoned the HUD and
  triggered a case where all my keyboard input was ignored (including
  ESC, backspace, Return but _not_ Ctrl+Alt+Fx).

  How to reproduce:

   1. Hit Alt key
   2. Once the dash appears
   3. Start typing something (example: abcdef)
   4. Hit the TAB key
   5. Notice that keyboard input is ignored in the HUD (example: pressing other
random keys, including ESC does nothing)

  Workaround:

  Clicking the mouse outside of the HUD make the HUD go away and
  keyboard input returns

  What I expect:

   1. The HUD not to appear unless specifically summoned (not relevant for this
bug)
   2. The HUD to respond to keystrokes once summoned

  Misc:

   1. I can successfully summon the HUD and dismiss it by pressing the ESC key
as expected if I haven't pressed the TAB key.
   2. This bug seems to occur regardless of which application I am currently
using. Tested Firefox, Terminator and Evince.
   3. I am running Unity-3D

  System details:

   $ cat /etc/lsb-release

   $ dpkg-query --show compiz unity
   compiz  1:0.9.7.4-0ubuntu3
   unity   5.8.0-0ubuntu2
