Title:
Dual displays - cannot place desktop item to left of launcher
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Running Raring alpha up to date.
To replicate, with dual displays side by side place the launcher on the right
hand display.
Attempt to place an item such as a file or shortcut on the desktop on the
left hand display. It bounces across to the right hand display.
If the launcher is positioned on the left hand display then items can
be positioned on either display.
Application windows behave as expected, it is just items such as files and
shortcuts that show the problem.
The problem is not seen on 12.10.
