Bug description:
Nux needs to support GL-ES to be able to run on certain ARM platforms.
It is a pre-requisite for Unity running on those same platforms, to
  provide some more context.

For reference the merge proposal waiting for integration is at:
  https://code.launchpad.net/~linaro-graphics-wg/nux/nux-
  gles2/+merge/70279

This bug tracks the importance of the task in the overall Unity/Nux
  work list.

Summary of the different parts to integrate:
  - nux GL-ES support:
  - compiz GL-ES support:
  - unity FBO changes (for live alt-tab previews)
  - unity panel "shadow" changes
