Really no bug here: just white font of users name over customized white background prevented me to see they were really displayed as intended.

I recreated other user and password. Even after reboot the user won't see his name on greeter. The single way for him to log in is to switch user from my own system menu. In the same way, guest account isn't shown, although available via the same path. I have no lightdm.conf.
