keyboard doesnt work after hibernation lockscreen

Bug description:
when i open the lid to my laptop the keybaord doesnt work in the
lockscreen unless i go up to the power cog and go to switch account
then i can log back in just fine it only happens when my laptop lid
has been shut for more then 5 mins... This is for ubuntu 14.04
