Title:
  gnome-system-monitor refuses to exit

Status in “gnome-system-monitor” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I am running Karmic with the most recent updated. Today I noticed
gnome-system-monitor refuses to exit. I start the application, it
works fine until I click on the close (x) button. Simply nothing
happens, even if I press it 10 times. The application remains running,
shows stats fine, as if nothing happened.
