  Dependency problem on installing libgtk2.0-dev

Bug description:
  I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 dev and on installing libgtk2.0-dev I'm getting
  the following output:

  sworddragon@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev
  Reading package lists... Done
  Building dependency tree       
  Reading state information... Done
  Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
  requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
  distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
  or been moved out of Incoming.

   libgtk2.0-dev : Depends: libpango1.0-dev (>= 1.20) but it is not going to be
