Ken Sharp, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. In general, filing Wishlist reports would need to originate upstream. This is how Ubuntu isn't going to deviate from any upstream, unless there is overwhelming cause to do otherwise, which is not present in this report.
Thank you for your understanding. ** Changed in: dia (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Changed in: dia (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to dia in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1020692 Title: Dia needs more networking icons Status in Dia - Diagram Tool: New Status in “dia” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: From https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dia/+question/202178 "I have downloaded the extra icons and even some RIB-icon packs that, so I'm told, looks like Visio's. The problem being that they're not very varied. The Cisco icons are all about Cisco but don't have what I'm looking for either. Specifically: games consoles, TVs, media players and STBs all use the network, but there's no icons for them. I've searched Google but there doesn't seem to be any alternatives." There also needs to be specific icons for new technologies such as HomePNA.
