Public bug reported:

With Ubuntu 14.01 and gnome classic flashback, when trying to add a new item to
the applications menu, the "ok" button is always disabled, and does not change
to enabled after editing the rpoper fields.

This was already fixed 5 months ago, why didn't you update the packet
since then with the new source?

The working version is hosted at:

https://github.com/GNOME/alacarte/blob/master/Alacarte/

and the file causing the error is:

https://github.com/GNOME/alacarte/blob/master/Alacarte/ItemEditor.py

** Affects: alacarte (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
