Title: Update manager Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: 1. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (64 bit) 2. Source: kde workspace; version: 4:4.8.5-0ubuntu 0.3 3. I wanted to update applications. Software center not working and unable to report error. A notification comes up in the tasks bar. 4. The below error message comes in the screen: An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.
