This seems to have been fixed for quite some time (at least it's not the case for Trusty anymore). But nobody closed the bug.

This warning appears above the little arrow that I can click to log in, making it impossible to log in without pressing Enter. Turning off caps lock hides the warning, but the behaviour appears somewhat erratic: sometimes the login button appears, sometimes not. Hovering over the right side of the password field continues to reveal a tooltip saying that caps lock is turned on, and clicking does nothing.
