Graphics ard is  NVIDIA GT218 (GForce 210)
Tried changing from X. Org X driver to NVIDIA 331.89 (from 331 prop. tested).
After reboot the addiitonal drivers windows said "Using the recommended driver" 
- however desktop display was worse: still showing the ghosting of blurred 
previosu windows, and also flickery.
