** Description changed: Nautilus is slow to load even when loading an empty folder. Takes longer to open a folder with a more than 6 folders in it. Even longer to load the home folder first or going back to home folder. When I say slow to load, I mean 30 seconds when loading home or going back to home folder. New install Ubuntu 11.10 release. I lowered the preview icons size to 1mb and still a problem. As I said it is even long when opening an empty folder. AMD 64 so using 64 bit version of Ubuntu 11.10. The following Hard Drive Config I have used since Karmic with no troubles.
