Bug description:
- Ubuntu 14.04
- GeForce GTX 670
- Large Yamasaki monitor (DVI cable)
I'm trying to install the nvidia drivers (required by CUDA), but after
the successful installation the screen turns permanently black after
the first reboot.
I repeated the procedure several times, using different version of the
drivers and different sources (i.e., nvidia download center, ubuntu's standard
repos, and the xorgs-edgers ppa).
The pattern was constant in all these attempt.
