Same here: Kubuntu 14.10, LibreOffice 4.3.3.2, spanish localization. This makes installed LO unusable for me. Alternatives: XMODIFIERS workaround; reinstall gnome LO; use alternative software: calligra, OO; abiword... None of them is satisfying. Provided office package should be completely usable.

We can certainly set unset XMODIFIERS on /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice but that will not survice libreoffice upgrades. We could also unset XMODIFIERS on .bash_profile but we want the workaround to be limited to libreoffice without causing side effects on other apps. Conclusion: we need a solution that comes directly from Ubuntu's repositories. Any comments? We are available for further debugging and testing.
