Title: Oneiric: network manager rewrites resolv.conf even if told not to manage interfaces Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “network-manager” package in Debian: New Bug description: I have a PC with network interfaces specified via the interfaces file. Network manager is told not to manage interfaces. Still it stubbornly rewrites the etc/resolv.conf file erasing it (leaving just a comment) and breaking network connectivity. This did not happen on natty and is a regression.
