Download the Chrome "64 bit .deb" at <http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?platform=linux_ubuntu_x86_64>. 2. On a 64-bit Ubuntu installation, open the .deb. 3. In USC, click "Install". What happens: 2. Ubuntu Software Center opens to a screen that shows: - the icon for something that is already installed, when it isn't - an "Install" button - the error message, "Wrong architecture 'amd64'". 3. The "Install" button becomes insensitive, but nothing else happens. What should happen: 2. Chrome appears not installed and installable. 3. Chrome is installed.
