This bug also affects the Nautilus file manager (and Image Viewer, Fotoxx, more).
Click and drag any image icon. Presto! Your mouse cursor is changed into a smaller version of that icon, with an arrow in its upper left and a second arrow in its upper right. This is nice while you're dragging. But, and this is the new probem, you then remain stuck with that weird, wrong mouse cursor until you log out of the session or shut down! This wrong behavior seems restricted to Ubuntu 14.10; 14.04 remains okay.
