Title:
  linux mint 17 nm-connection-editor applet doesn't save setting

Status in The Linux Mint Distribution:
  New
Status in network-manager-applet package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  after a clean installation with mate or cinnamon of linux mint 17 
  is not possible to modify the network setting using the app in the systemtray 
or with nm-connection-editor.
  when i try to manualy set an ip (ip 192.168.1.104  sub 255.255.255.0 gw 
192.168.1.254 dns 8.8.8.8) the save button remain gray and is not possible to 
save the change.

  p.s.
  when booting with live dvd or after the installation the ip is automatically 
set to 192.168.1.1 that is already used by another pc
