I have had this happen to me across multiple Ubuntu distributions including at least Lubuntu, Mint and PepperMint.

What you expected to happen: The page should render correctly allowing users to install Chrome web apps. chromium-browser 38.0.2125.111-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.1061 32 Bit i386 Ubuntu Trusty 14.04.01 LTS This doesn't happen on the latest nightly developer build from here (https://download-chromium.appspot.com/) or if you download the official Google Chrome stable version. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help, neither does deleting the Chromium profile. The only workaround is to either downgrade to 34.0.1847.116 via Synaptic or to use one of the versions linked above. Sorry if this is already submitted/known, but I couldn't see anything. This is however already submitted at the Chromium bug tracker but it has been closed pending an update from Ubuntu: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=432488 The last security update has created a severe regression. Can we get an update to 38.0.2125.122 or higher ASAP please?
