I'm seeing exactly this behaviour with nvidia-346 (from xorg-edgers, because I urgently need libGLESv2.so which is NOT included in the nvidia-331 packages for amd-64; a bug) and nvidia-340 (same reason) on kernel 3.13.0-45 and Ubuntu 14.04
I can get bumblebee working on this setup, and can confirm with glxinfo that the nvidia is being used. However, with bumblebee completely purged, nvidia-prime always gives me the black login screen after "prime-select nvidia". Intel mode works fine. Any hints on gettings this to work would be greatly appreciated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-331-updates in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1268771 Title: NVIDIA Prime fails with Linux 3.13 Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-331 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-331-updates package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: When I select the Nvidia® graphics card from control panel using nvidia-prime, after logging out, the screen goes black and the only way to approach it is in text mode.
