Title: Hotkeys are passed to current application instead of being processed Status in gnome-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: On my current vivid pre-alpha system the brightness, volume and suspend hotkeys have stopped changing the brightness, the volume and to suspend the computer. Instead they are passed to the currently active application (emacs is handy in this respect since it will complain in this case and display the name of the hotkey). Suspending, changing the brightness or volume seem to work completely fine when triggered in any other way than by pressing a hotkey.
