Bug description:
Kubuntu Jaunty alpha 3 + all upgrades.
Start the KDE session, kill the knetworkmanager ("killall
knetworkmanager"), start the network manager applet ("nm-applet"). The
applet is not visible in the panel, but it occupies some black space
there.
