Which Ubuntu version is this? I can not reproduce this in Ubuntu 14.10 and also not in current Ubuntu 15.04 daily. Screenshot of Ubuntu 14.10 with light-themes 14.04+14.10.20141015-0ubuntu1 (utopic) attached, with Ambiance GTK theme and Numix icon theme showing, same result with default ubuntu-mono-dark icon theme.
