Let me see if this is the autostart stuff in fcitx-ui-qimpanel causes the trouble.

In language-selector ibus is selected as the IME in use. I just logged in and I'm seeing a fcitx indicator. I *do* have fcitx installed, but just having it installed shouldn't cause it to be used unless my configuration demands it, because it doesn't perform any useful function and takes up space.
