** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #132173 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132173 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/392175 Title: Implement gnome-terminal activity monitor feature Status in GNOME Terminal: New Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal This is not a bug, this is a feature request. I've been a KDE user long time ago. In this time a used konsole as a terminal emulator. Since Hardy I'm using the Ubuntu default Gnome desktop and in this case I'm using gnome-terminal instead off konsole. There is a feature which is really missing for me. Konsole is able to monitor activity on the terminal tabs. So if I'm working on one of the tabs (active tab) konsole is able to alarm me when there is some activity on a not used one (inactive tab). There will be nice to see a similar feature for gnome-terminal. Please implement a similar feature!
