Title:
  Mouse Curson Disappearing Intermittently

Status in gnome-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The cursor blings at irregular intervals wheen mouse cursor moving.

  TEMPORARY WORKAROUND:
Try this to resolve it. Disconnect all but your main laptop/desktop monitors.
Go to system settings->Displays. Try to delete the non-existing screen that
Ubuntu adds by default. The issue should be resolved after selecting "Apply".
If it doesn't, play around a little bit with the settings there, and hit Apply
to see if it works...

However, after doing that, I still notice some weird behaviour (cursor
  freezes sometimes)...
