Title:
  vino-server makes compiz video sluggish

Status in vino package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: vino

I recently noticed, that compiz video would get weird and sluggish, like it
literally makes your eyes ache. When the gnome-session gets restarted or a new
gnome-session is being launched on a different vt, it is normal as before. I
saw that it happened under certain stress on video/cpu/memory. While there
might be more than one triggers, most probably a bug in the i915 driver, I was
able to catch it in action. It was a vino-server running. When it was killed,
things went back to normal.
I do not use vnc in any way, cannot uninstall it either .
