Same with a live desktop CD after installing libgnome2-0 (didn't know
gnome-open was deprecated - what a shame!) and qt4-dev-tools.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: shared-mime-info

  To reproduce, install Qt Linguist (apt-get install qt4-dev-tools) and for a 
linguist .ts file example.ts, do:
  $ gnome-open example.ts
  Expected behaviour: the file is opened by Qt Linguist.
  Actual behaviour: Banshee tries to open the file.
