I hope this will help, firstly you should know that I have upgraded to 11.10 and the problems with evolution have not totally gone because I get error messages but these messages do not appear to have any impact on the efficiency of the application.
When I upgraded the messages in the waste bin disappeared. Furthermore new deletions disappear as well. I get an error message when I forward a reply .... The reported error was "Failed to append to mbox:///home/gordon/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent: Invalid folder URI 'mbox:///home/gordon/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent' Appending to local 'Sent' folder instead." It seems to work satisfactorily as I can see the reply in sent messages. I think the new release is brilliant and you can quote me. Maybe because I struggled with some aspects in the last release, this conversion was very easy. A very big thank you to all of the team! If I can be of more help don't hesitate to ask. rgds On Thu, 2011-10-20 at 13:57 +0000, Pedro Villavicencio wrote: > Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make > Ubuntu better. All of the work around cntl e for example give an error as does empty wastebasket in file .
