Clicking with a mouse OR tapping on a touchscreen does not work. Subsequently, when using a regular keyboard, after trying with onscreen keyboard, you must click into the password field again before input from regular keyboard is accepted. Suspect that focus is not being properly returned/shifted to the text input field by the keyboard, and the field itself is losing programmatic focus.
