As requested I have tried to reproduce the problem. I've been unable to reproduce the problem.
Reproduction fails either at step 0 as some images of sufficient size will always open full screen. Or the problem is not in evidence at step 5 with other images of sufficient size. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to eog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/750829 Title: Eye of GNOME scroll bar range after resize Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Binary package hint: eog After the following steps it will not be possible to scroll horizontally across the entire image. 0. Ensure that Eye does not open images in a maximized window. 1. Open a large image file. (e.g. 3.1k x 4.7k pixel) 2. Maximize the window. 3. Use the show image at it's normal size button (magnifier with 1:1 written in it) 4. Restore the window to it's orignal size. 5. It is now not possible to scroll to the far right of the image. Additional notes. Vertical scroll does not seem to be affected. Zoom makes it possible to scroll horizontal again.
