agreed wholeheartedly. this is so frustrating, and unfortunately so common with open software developers, to "go their own way" without consideration for, or perhaps understanding of, what may or may not be intuitive or expected behavior. developers, consider the huge amounts of users' time wasted by your taking an arbitrary and unilateral approach to design.
