Title: Network Places, Windows Network: "Unable to mount location Failed to retrieve share list from server" when gigolo installed Status in “gigolo” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: nautilus Nautilus and Gigolo got along fine 2 weeks ago. After removing Gigolo everything goes back to normal in Nautilus. can browse and mount samba shares from Network Places. With Gigolo installed can mount the samba shares either manually in Nautilus via location: smb://server and select the share etc. or via Gigolo. The mounted shares show up as they should. Also gvfs-mount works just fine. This is specific to Nautilus's "Network Places" when Gigolo is installed. Samba and gvfs work as they should at all times. This was not an issue after upgrading to 11.04, started happening in the last week or two. Also the session at login does not make any difference, the results are the same in Unity, Ubuntu Classic (no effects), lubuntu, etc. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: nautilus 1:2.32.2.1-0ubuntu13 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Jun 3 09:39:09 2011 InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_CA:en LANG=en_CA.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-04-29 (35 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gigolo/+bug/792438/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
