Printing "error" isn't itself an error. Neither is misusing an API.
I'm closing this because stderr of chromium has no guarantee of cleanliness. If there is a real problem that faces users, like hinted of missing keystrokes, then open a new bug about that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1448181 Title: error on every keystroke: Gdk: gdk_window_set_user_time called on non- toplevel Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: For that past few minutes (and over multiple restartings of chromium- browser), every keystroke results in [7008:7008:0424/110337:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(216)] Gdk: gdk_window_set_user_time called on non-toplevel being printed to the console (the only change being that slowly but surely the '110337' increments by 1 every couple of keystrokes). This slows possible input speed down (If I type too quickly chromium- browser starts missing keystrokes).
