shutdown from session menu doesn't shut down
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
In current oneiric, I click the top-right gear menu, then shut down,
then confirm shut down.
what happens: after a minute or two delay, the machine goes back to
the lightdm login screen
what should happen: it should shut down.
