XMir 1.0 (the old Xorg extension) is now deprecated and is not being maintained or fixed. It is replaced by the new 'Xmir' binary (package 'xmir') introduced in Ubuntu 15.10 wily.
Is there any way to reproduce this bug without the old Xmir? ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1339978 Title: XMir crashes with SIGSEGV in xf86DeleteInput; needs x86input hooked up properly Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Otherwise we get a fun crash when attempting to launch applications: http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/7771265/ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1339978/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
