Title:
xmir displayPort will funk-ily mirror even tho 2nd display has been
turned off in settings
Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
was running multimonitor in mirror mode. selected the 2nd screen (not the
builtin) and turned off. after a moment or 2...the 2nd monitor begins to
display a mirror but non-scaled, with the original ui behind it
this was reliably reproduceable.
strangely, the shadowed ui on the 2nd display updates/renders...always
in the same way....with the mouse hovering over the "apply" button of
the settings app....but seems active. on every mouse move or
keystroke, the mouse appears to click the "apply" button
