I do have a screen lock (pin) on my phone, but after some updates on my Ubuntu computer, I was able to connect to it just fine. I think that now there is no problem in connecting.

I could browse the phone's content via Nautilus as if it were a flash drive. Now, since upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04, I am not able to mount the phone. When I plug it in via USB, I receive a pop-up window saying "Unable to mount Android Phone" (see attached screenshot). Nautilus will open and will display "Android Phone" in the navigation panel, but it does not display any content on the phone. I also tried creating a live DVD of 15.04 and launched Ubuntu that way. I was still unable to mount my Android phone. Nothing on the phone changed since I was able to mount it on 14.10, and USB Debugging is enabled. Please let me know if there are any logs or other information that will be useful in investigating this. I am submitting this as a bug because it was working in 14.10 but is no longer working in 15.04. -Jon ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04 Package: unity-settings-daemon 15.04.1+15.04.20150408-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.19.0-16.16-generic 3.19.3 Uname: Linux 3.19.0-16-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.17.2-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Sat May 9 21:24:18 2015 ExecutablePath: /usr/lib/unity-settings-daemon/unity-fallback-mount-helper InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-04-28 (741 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Release amd64 (20130424) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity-settings-daemon UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to vivid on 2015-04-25 (14 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-settings-daemon/+bug/1453479/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
