More detailed description of the bug:
I have a big (4 TiB) batch of scientific articles (PDF). If I delete to trash
~50000 files (~25 GiB) or more using Thunar (v1.6.3) or DoubleCommander (0.5.8
beta) and then try to empty Trash from the desktop or Thunar the icon (and the
whole desktop and thunar) becomes not responsible (nothing happens if you
rightbutton click on it, or if you try to select it, I have waited for 30 min).
Even if I empty the trash using:
sudo rm -rf ~/.local/share/Trash/*
the icon doesn't respond. However, after this command and reboot, everything
works fine and the the trash icon on the desktop and in thunar is "empty". Sure
one can terminate Thunar and restart it again and it would work fine.

My machine cfg: Core i7 3770, 32 GB RAM, 6 TB HDD (2xWD 30EZRX).
OS: Xubutnu 14.04.3 LTS, kernel 3.16.0-50.67~14.04.1-generic 3.16.7-ckt16.
