Gedit causes OS freeze when drag-dropping tabs between windows

Bug description:
Open two windows of the default text editor installed in Ubuntu 12.04
amd64 (gedit). Transferring a tab from one window to the other by
drag-dropping the tab will cause the operating system to become
unresponsive.
