I can confirm this bug. I believe it is caused by the conversion bar (here Liter in Gallons) which has no fixed width. See these two pictures of a big number and zero. As the numbers grow bigger the conversion grows to the right side. After the numbers are big enough it shows them with x10^something and stays relatively consistent. However everytime you start typing the calculator changes size which is really annoying. Moreover there is no possibility to change the size of calculator. Otherwise you could easily expand it so that there is enough whitespace on the right side.
