Public bug reported:
The latest major update has been been added to the AMD fglrx drivers,
and packages need to be built for Ubuntu.
Unlike 15.5-15.9 this is a major improvement, almost as big as last
year's "Omega" update, not just a minor bugfix release.
While a few of the biggest updates (such as the AMDCPU driver) were
postponed due to not being ready for release, this update contains
several major code-base updates, which provide major performance
improvements, as well as a handful of bug fixes.
** Affects: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
