Christopher Forster, as you noted there are 4 screenshots demonstrating
the 4 issues with the attached file, this bug will focus on the first
one. If a fix is desired for all 4, your welcome to make a separate bug
for each problem.

** Description changed:

- There are compatibility issues with Microsoft Office 2010 PowerPoint
- .pptx presentations. This problem does occur for me in LibreOffice
- Impress. LibreOffice Impress is showing information it shouldn't during
- presentation (in Swedish):
+ 1) lsb_release -rd
+ Description: Ubuntu 11.10
+ Release: 11.10

- Klicka här för att ändra format på bakgrundstexten
- Nivå två
- Nivå tre
- Nivå fyra
- Nivå fem
+ 2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-impress
+ libreoffice-impress:
+ Installed: 1:3.4.3-3ubuntu2
+ Candidate: 1:3.4.3-3ubuntu2
+ Version table:
+ *** 1:3.4.3-3ubuntu2 0
+ 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages
+ 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

- This bug doesn't show up in Microsoft Office 2010 PowerPoint.
+ 3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Impress via the Terminal:
+
+ cd ~/Desktop && wget
+
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/879056/+attachment/2572613/+files

+
+ is the text on slide 1 remains on the right hand side as it does in MS
+ PowerPoint 2010
+
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/879056/+attachment/2574442/+files
+ /pptx-Bug.pptx-screenshot01.png
+
