To clarify, if you were to remove bumblebee, but keep the latest nvidia
drivers as per the Ubuntu repository, is this still reproducible?

After last nvidia drivers update, I've noticed screen tearing on fast
cursor moving in menus, also in 720p video in VLC and even in
QtCreator text editor. I have bumblebee running intel i915 and NVIDIA
GF117M.
