Applications cannot change their settings. For instance when I change an icons position in the desktop, then I update it; the icon returns to default position. Also, when I change settings of TeXstudio and then re-start it I get only last settings, new settings are not applied. I've applied : sudo chown [username]:[username] -R ~/.config but the problem persists.
