Title:
URL indicator stays when one mouses over a URL which then disappears
before the mouse has left it

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I have recently noticed that if I go to a website and then hover my
mouse over a link, it will give me an indication of the URL in the
standard Firefox way in one of the bottom corners of the browser,
however if the link for whatever disappears (for instance if some JS
is triggered and it hides the link) the URL indicator will stay there
until I mouse over another link, and if there is not another link,
then it will just stay there and become a real nuisance.

It sometimes even happens if the page moves down for whatever reason
while my mouse is over a link, and it doesn't seem to register that my
  mouse left the link.

I am currently running Firefox 44 (but first noticed the issue in
  Firefox 43).
