Very possible explanation. USB headset problems are mentioned in BIOS changelog, I have USB headset and I recently plugged it into different port.
I will update BIOS when possible, and report result. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1554344 Title: Mouse left click stops working Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: HP Elitebook 8770w. Mouse left/right click & scroll wheel works only on system panels (Window menus, choosing application, shutdown etc.), not anywhere else. Reboot fixes problem, but it reappears after unknown time period (usually overnight). This problem is the same with touchpad buttons & external usb mouse. Replugging mouse does not help. I chose xorg package because this was instructed on older similar bugs.
