If you are talking about this report, it is clearly the same bug as
LP#1548977.

Assuming your file manager is nautilus, then you have the exact same

Hi
Just installed the 16.04 beta, ran the upgrade so I'm up to date.
The Nautilus file manager has a missing browse network option.
I can connect to smb shares manually.
This sounds like a bug/issue Nemo had recently:

Is their a fix i can do, or is it a case of wait for patches to filter
down to Nautilus?
