Title:
Wireless headset donge disables mouse left click

Status in xinput package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When using a wireless headset Corsair VOID RGB wireless, when the usb
dongle is plugged in, mouse left click is disabled in current focus
  application.

This evidently is because the dongle itself functions as an input
device to enable some control features of the headset, such as volume
  control.

Command "xinput list" shows the device under virtual core pointer, on my
system with device number 15.
Disabling the device with ""xinput set-prop 15 "Device Enabled" 0"" the bug
disappears and mouse left click functions properly again. This also disables
the controls in the headset as expected.

This bug has been filed before, but clear solutions do not exist, and
it is very reliably reproducible with plugging or unplugging the
dongle. The problem seems to affect all wireless headsets with this
feature, and is not confined to this model, or to corsair products.
Some bug reports mention logitech headsets.
